Get to Know the Muses: Sarah Fraser & Hannah Beaden

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Sarah and Hannah on the campaign of our latest capsule collection, The Coastal Wardrobe. The collection encapsulates effortless, coastal dressing and so we left it to our style muses to bring the vision to life. In celebration of Sarah and Hannah's unique balance of work and family life, we ask them what a typical day in the life looks like. Along few quick questions about their experience with motherhood, creative pursuits and hear about what they have planned for the rest of the year.

Tell us a little about your morning routine, what are your non-negotiables to get the
day started?

Both our mornings start with a hot coffee in our travel mugs (when you're a mum you never know how long you'll have to drink it) before the chaos begins. Neither of us takes much time to get ready, a quick splash of water and tinted sunscreen and we head out the door. Having boys means we are out of the house and to the beach or park as early as possible.

What do you love most about living on the Sunshine Coast? Does the family have a
favourite go-to beach you always default to?

We both live in the Sunshine Coast hinterland so have lots of land for our active boys to run wild. Combined with the amazing Sunshine coast beaches we both feel like we live in the perfect place to raise a family. There are too many incredible spots that we love but Coolum Bays and Sunshine Beach are two of our absolute favourites.

As mother’s of small tribes, what do you love most about motherhood? But also
what have you found most challenging?

We both have the privilege of staying home with our children during these crucial years. Staying at home with children especially our boys can be incredibly rewarding whilst also being all-consuming. We both love watching each of the boys' individual personalities blossom and their little friendships form. We especially love the slow, in-between moments like dancing barefoot on the beach, swimming in the pool and watching as the boys ride bikes and play at home. Motherhood comes with many unique challenges. Sarah often struggles to find time to do everything, with children, uni and a husband who is a shift worker. Hannah's family live on the other side of the world which has created many challenging moments for her and her little fam - as they say raising kids takes a village. We both struggle with the daily overwhelming aspects of motherhood, being a stay at home mum can be isolating, tiring and often it's hard to let go of expectations. Motherhood so often is just about going with the flow.

We love all the creative content you both create, is there anything thats inspiring
you at the moment?

We both love capturing our sun-drenched days on film. We are mostly inspired by each other, nature and the surf/beach culture our families are a part of.

What creative pursuits to do you have in the works? What can we look forward to
seeing from Hannah and Sarah this year?

We love working and shooting film together, and have created a space to share our collaborative content called 'The Sunday Files'. We also have a couple of very exciting projects in the works, which we will share later in the year...
